Still have random glitchy sounds (wrong pitch etc.).
Repro step: a bit long to reproduce... you have to move left and enter the Door then down, down, right, down, down, left, down, right, down, left to the gargoyle spitting fire with bouncing glass sphere...
Usually this is enough to experience at least one audio glitch.
I think audio fx routine is buggy on AGA 060... I'm using this tooltypes to launch and degrade the game:

Not working properly:
1. can't enter doors (e.g. move on the right after you start a new game to enter the well) with joystick-up
2. problems with ladders when you press 2nd button: you'll start climbing (!) and then joy-up won't work anymore (?). Expected behaviour: only up/down should be used to climb up/down the ladders and 2nd button should be always ignored.

The issue is still reproducible. It's random but still there: sometimes rarely you'll hear a glitched sound instead of the expected sound effect.

Suspect: music player or sound player routine needs some rework or been slowed down?
I don't use my real A1200 + Blizzard 1260 anymore (I'm on WinUAE) but as far I can remember was happening there too, randomly and rare but definitely reproducible.
