Can you try installing from another drive? I notice you have several Mantis issues for games that are very old and were installed a long time ago and they crash during imaging which simply shouldn't happen as the install process uses DIC, it shouldn't crash during imaging, simply tell you that there is a fault with the disk. If you have access to another drive, please try that first, because it sounds like you have drive or disk issues. It should NOT crash during install! |

Hi, here is a similar problem like on TBA bug. My discs seems to be another version. If I take a look on these I see that Track 1 has a copyprotection. That brings your installer to quit. Protection is on disk 1 and disk 2. It's on track 1 (not track 0 as susal) on the upper and lower side of the disk. |

Personally it sounds like a broken disk, but as Terrys Big Adventure proved, it is possible for another version to be a completely different version than others, even though it should really be unlikely. The usual format for that game is AmigaDOS disk with 1 protection track, so either yours is an MFM format or its a broken disk. So if you can MFMWarp me disk 1, I can investigate it to see what it is. Cheers |
