Which slave version ?

note ~0012771

Retroplay (reporter)

Confirmed, it happens with slave v1.2.
Enter "Misc Menu", select either option and it will ask for disk 1 to be inserted.

Retroplay (reporter)

Oops, "Misc Menu" then "Instructions".

Psygore (developer)

Attached new install package.

The game must be re-installed, it will copy read and readme file to display instructions.

Retroplay (reporter)

Thanks, it works well now.

Sorry to report that, but but in doesn't work with LowMem Slave (About Instructions).

I obtain a very short message error... then I return to the menu.

It try it with a full reinstalled Game.

It's the same installed game on my A1200 and my A500ACA500Plus.

For more security i try it more on my A1200 with Your 3 slaves on only LowMen have this problem.

Best regards,

Thanks Psygore. I can't test the new slave because I can't find any IPF images.
One more thing though, probably nothing...but in the options menu when you change the sound from music to sound fx the resultant sound heard from selecting buttons in the menu is really horrid. Can someone confirm if it is supposed to be that way? If so, I'd be surprised. Unless my WinUAE is mucking it up or something.

Psygore (developer)

It's the sound file data/updown.snd.pak.

If you depack and play it, it seems to be an original corrupted iff sound.

Paul Head (reporter)

Got it, a CrM file. It seems highly unlikely that the game was released with that. Also a bit concerning regarding possible corruption elsewhere in the game, I suppose.

Psygore (developer)

New install package available.

Excolion (reporter)

Hello, is the latest version 1.3? Because the latest version has 08.05.2023 timestamp in the link http://whdload.de/games/MaxRally.html but main whdload page Latest News section shows the date 23.05.2023

Psygore (developer)

Yes it's the latest version.

It was tested before uploaded on whdload.de
