This patch applies to "Wiz 'n' Liz" (c) 1993 Psygnosis/Lunatic Software

The original release is supported (SPS #749).

NOTE: If you are upgrading from v2.1 or earlier, you will need to reinstall.
You can copy your "scores.dat" from the previous install to the data folder.

REQUIREMENTS

- Original disks (x2) or disk images
- Slave requires WHDLoad V19+
- Game requires 512k chip memory + 512k any memory
  (+ approx 950k other memory for preload option)

FEATURES:
- Game loads entirely from HD
- Uses real files, extracted with system friendly RawDIC imager
- Rob Northen Copylock protection removed
- Quit game at any time (default key F10), including on 68000 machines
- Skip the intro with fire button at any time
- Highscores saved to HD
- Stack + decruncher moved to fast memory if available
- 2x CPU-dependent (empty dbf) loops fixed
- 52x Blitter waits added for 040/060 compatibility
  (set CUSTOM3=1 to disable if you experience slowdown)
- 1x color bit setting fixed
- Game bug fix: Occasional screen glitches in 2 player mode on fast CPUs
- Trainers added - add the following values to CUSTOM1:
  + 1 for infinite lives
  + 2 for infinite time
  + 4 for infinite boss fight lives
  + 8 for in-game cheat keys:
    * F1 to toggle infinite lives
    * F2 to toggle infinite time
    * F3 to toggle infinite boss fight lives
    * HELP to skip the current world
- Set CUSTOM2=1 to enable 2nd/blue button to drop through current platform
  (also enables Play+Forward+Reverse to quit on CD32 pads)

WORDS FROM THE AUTHOR

There have been a few requests over the years that hopefuly this update
takes care of. Firstly the bug when the demo mode starts up should be no
more. This was a rogue check to a part of the disk that the installer left
out (because it didn't contain any data). The install now uses real files
so the disk checks are gone altogether.

The slave is now adapted to only need 512k chip memory, while the remaining
512k can be anywhere. This should hopefully improve performance on setups
where chip memory access is slower.

There is now 2nd button support to let you drop down a platform, which
is sorely needed in the later difficulty levels! Plus a few trainers added
as well if you prefer those.

Thanks to Joe for the bug report about the copylock back in 2006, and to
Luca "Hexaae" Longone for bug reports and testing over the years.
