It's been a while since my last patch for a demo so I thought I'd do
another one for a classic music disk. Loaded this music disk again
yesterday for the first time in years and today when I arrived at work
I started to code the WHDLoad patch for it. It didn't take long until
I had an almost fully working patch, except for a minor problem
with the starfield everything worked fine. When I was back home I fixed
the problem with the starfield which was caused by self-modifying code
and the patch was finished.
In the original demo, each track was loaded separately (so the loader screen
could display the current track), to avoid unnecessary OS swaps and
slow downs the tunes are loaded in one go in this patch. The track display
wouldn't be correct anyway due to loading the data from HD.
Enjoy this very nice music disk from HD now, it contains great synthetic tunes!
