This install applies to "Megademo" © 1990 Static Bytes.

 Requirements:
 -------------
This install requires WHDLoad and RawDIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.

The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.9 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").

 Features:
 ---------
 - Full load from HD (real files!)
 - Blitter waits added (x5, 68010+ only)
 - Blitter wait patches can be forced with CUSTOM1
 - Wrong blitter waits (btst #14,$dff006) fixed (x2)
 - Random generator recoded
 - Self-modifying code fixed
 - Scroller in loader part fixed (invisible on fast machines)
 - Timing fixed
 - Access faults fixed (x2)
 - DMA wait in replayer fixed (x9)
 - Byte write to volume register in replayer fixed (x6)
 - ButtonWait support for loader part
 - NewIcon (created by me)
 - Source code included as usual
 - Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')

This one took a few hours to do despite the not too bad code.
I actually spent most of the time fixing the loader part, first
there was nothing visible at all, this was caused by a bug in
my RawDIC imager as I found out about half an hour later. ;)
Once that was fixed there was no scroller visible, this was caused
by clearing the screen at the end of the interrupt which I
have fixed, the scroller is now visible on all machines.
Except for part 1 (fireworks) and part 4 (mega copper) there
weren't any special problems to fix.

In part 1 the "clear dots" routines accessed illegal memory
and the random routine relied on the raster beam position which
in turn made it produce bad results on fast machines. I have
completely recoded the random generator routine!

In part 4 a few blitter waits had to be added, these are only
applied on 68010+ machines, you can force them on 68000 machines
 with CUSTOM1.
Speaking of blitter waits, in part 5 there was quite a nice bug,
the blitter waits were all wrong, coder used register $dff006
instead of $dff002 for testing the blitter busy flag.

Other than that the code is quite good for a 1990 demo!

Since the demo loads very fast from HD I have added ButtonWait
support for the loader part, if enabled the next part will
only be started once the left mouse button has been pressed.

The files in the data directory can all be compressed with any
of the crunchers supported by WHDLoad (ProPack, FImp etc.).

Enjoy yet another classic from HD. The parts are really nice
 for a 1990 demo!
